The Flinders Ranges is a vast extraordinary landscape millions of years old and only 400km north of Adelaide. You can do guided Aboriginal walks, experience rugged 4wd treks, enjoy plenty of bush walks and at the end of the day, camp in luxury safari tents. Kangaroo Island by contrast is an island sanctuary for wildlife and natural rugged beauty. Only 30 minutes by plane from Adelaide, more than one third of the island consists of national parks and conservation areas.
